Proram Oversized  Intake Kit For A3 8V, S3 8V, Leon 5F, VW Golf 7 GTI / R MQB

 

The ultimate oversized kit for the MQB platform fitting both RHD and LHD vehicles.

 

Features

  • Featuring an oversized aluminium hard pipe with integrated high flow bell mouth and Proram synthetic nanofibre filter.
  • The hardpipe tapers from 102mm (4”) at the inlet to our 80mm oversized turbo elbow.
  • A custom v-band clamp secures the parts and allows for easy fitment and a take-off barb connects the oem vacuum line.

 

What does it do?

  • This kit allows for increased airflow and induction noise over the factory air intake equipment.
  • A lightweight aluminium heatshield mounts to the original factory mounting points keeping inlet temperatures low.
  • Finished in a textured black powdercoat this is a huge upgrade on the factory air intake kit

This unique design has been proven to flow more air with less turbulence, which when combined with the premium pleated filtration material offers proven performance gains – especially with a tuned vehicle. It also delivers a much-improved intake sound, making the most of that sonorous four-cylinder engine.

 

CNC Laser-Cut Heatshield

Cut using state-of-the-art laser technology, assembled with aircraft grade rivets and coated in a specially formulated satin black powder coat finish. Ramair employ the same techniques in their tier one motorsport equipment.
